The Goldendoodle breed is also commonly known by the names Groodle, Golden Poos or Goldie Poos. The Groodle Puppies are cross between a Golden Retriever and a Standard or Miniature Poodle. 

They are great popular family pets and companion dogs. They are also charming and loyal. They can have shaggy coats much like that of a Retriever or a relaxed curl coat that resembles that of a Poodle, however many Groodle having a coat that’s somewhere in between the two. They are gentle, patient and affectionate by nature which makes it a very popular pet.

The history

The Groodle is a a cross breed between the Golden Retriever and Standard Poodle, hence “Goldendoodle”.  The Groodle was first developed in the early 1990’s, originally designed to be a suitable guide dog, to disabled persons with vision impairment who suffered from allergies as well.
