The Goldendoodle breed is also commonly known by the names Groodle, Golden Poos or Goldie Poos. The Groodle Puppies are cross between a Golden Retriever and a Standard or Miniature Poodle.

How to train a Groodle

Training a Groodle isn’t something you should put off while they settle in. You need to teach your Groodle what to expect from the moment they get into the home to stop them from getting confused. Also to manage their expectations makes it much less likely they’ll get into trouble. You also need to set boundaries from the beginning with basic commands.

The history

The Groodle is a a cross breed between the Golden Retriever and Standard Poodle, hence “Goldendoodle”.  The Groodle was first developed in the early 1990’s, originally designed to be a suitable guide dog, to disabled persons with vision impairment who suffered from allergies as well.
