Our experience

Nortons Park, Wantirna South

While everyone seems to be flocking to Mount Macedon, we prefer going to places that are less crowded and more convenient for dogs. Nortons Park near Wheelers Hill is neither too big nor too small, with several deciduous trees clustered together, creating a beautiful sea of yellow leaves. It's a lovely spot for those who want to experience the autumn vibe without traveling too far, and it's great for dog owners to explore.

We occasionally come to this park to play. It's quite spacious, and you can walk your dog off-leash here. There are also some dog-friendly facilities, such as hurdles. There seems to be a trail connected to it, but I haven't been there yet.

It gets crowded with people and dogs on weekends. Personally, I prefer coming on weekdays.
After rainfall, it can get muddy, and there is a sandpit.

It's not fully fenced and is connected to the parking lot.
Fenced area: 3/4 【Two sides not connected to roads in the north, south, east, or west】
