South Yarra’s Adorable Dog Line Café - Meet Forest! A friend highly recommended this cute café. Even before stepping inside, we were already charmed. The café's logo features the famous line-drawn dog from Melbourne!
The café is not huge, with only three indoor seats (and a few outdoor spots), and it can get quite busy.
If you want to dine in, weekdays are probably a better choice.
In the afternoon sunshine, the warm wooden décor with touches of greenery feels so cozy and uplifting, while the cheerful music adds to the relaxing vibe.
We were lucky enough to meet the owner's dog during our visit! The tiny poodle was just too adorable (though she’s a bit shy and doesn’t like to be petted or work much). Please be respectful and greet the dog gently!
The café offers a wide selection of coffee. We ordered a soy latte with an upgrade to Raspberry Candy beans. The texture was smooth, rich, and perfectly suited to our taste.
In terms of food, from Basque cheesecake and carrot cake to mochi, the desserts are all adorable. The yuzu Basque cheesecake was sweet but not overpowering – highly recommended!
