Ferntree Gully Quarry Recreation Reserve

We discovered another great spot for kids and dogs in Melbourne! The Ferntree Gully Quarry Recreation Reserve.

The weather was fantastic, so we brought our dog out to burn off some energy. this place is truly amazing! Dogs can play in the water, they're just so happy! Plus, there's a huge grassy area where we can sunbathe and have a picnic. (There's a BBQ area up there too.)

The place isn't very big, we can walk down the steps, and there are pathways for strollers, so parents with babies don't need to worry. At first, we thought there were only steps, so we used a baby carrier. We have to praise the BabyBjorn carrier, it's really a must-have for us when going out!

If your dog loves playing in the water, remember to bring a ball thrower, and then you can let them play to their heart's content!
