The water at Bayview beach is very clear, much better than the water quality at Kurnell Dog Beach. The bay waters here are also relatively calm, and the beach is not very deep, making it very suitable for dogs to play. The scenery here is very nice, with many yachts anchored on this side. There are fewer locals here, making it is niche and a hidden gem. Overall, we personally prefer Bayview more.
There is not only a beach here, but also a large grassy area for dogs to play in. It is very suitable to bring a small tent here and spend half a day. The only downside is that there are no places nearby to buy food, so it is recommended to bring your own food and drink before coming to enjoy a lovely afternoon.
Water bicycles are available here, and you can bring your dog along to play. The price is $40 per hour, and there is also a 90-minute option for $100, similar to a "sightseeing mode". Next time I plan to book in advance to play and have fun. Friends who want to go can come together and let's go with our dogs!
There is a relatively large parking lot here, but compared to the free parking at Kurnell, Bayview's parking fee is a bit expensive ($6.5 for one hour on Sunday).
