Our experience
This off-leash Dog Park is part of Tambourine Bay Park, which is also connected to the Warraroon Nature Reserve. The off-leash area is a designated space within the park. We visited on weekdays when it's not crowded, and the dogs can run freely.
It's important to note that this off-leash area doesn't have a gate. If your dog doesn't have good recall training, it's not recommended to let them off the leash here. Additionally, right next to the open space, there are BBQ facilities and a children's playground, and dogs are required to maintain a 10-meter distance (which seems odd since there are no visible fences or gates to separate them).
If you follow the small path on the left-hand side of the dog park, you can reach the waterfront. When we were there, there was a Labrador enjoying the water. In warmer weather, dogs can take a dip. From the waterfront, there's a trail that follows Tambourine Creek. At this point, dogs need to be on a leash. The trail is not difficult, with only a few steps and some muddy spots in places.
