Our experience

This weekend, we ventured a little further from Brisbane to the charming coastal town of Mooloolaba, which is about a 1.5-hour drive south. We highly recommend visiting the Point Cartwright Lighthouse, which offers stunning views. We were even lucky enough to spot two whales on the day we visited. After visiting the lighthouse, there's a large slope where many people gather for picnics and to catch the sunset. From 4 PM onwards, it becomes an off-leash area, making it a great place to bring your furry friends for a stroll.

Adjacent to this spot, there's a beautiful off-leash beach in Buddina. In the mornings, you can take your dogs for a splash in the water, and in the afternoon, enjoy a leisurely walk around the lighthouse to shake off the sand. It's a convenient way to prepare your pets for a bath when you return home.
